Re-entering UK before BRP has arrived?

Hi all, I have my passport back from my application, but my BRP is to be delivered on Monday. Unfortunately I have to start work in another country as soon as possible, so I was wondering whether I can leave the UK on Sunday, and re-enter next weekend on my existing Tier 1 (or even a 90 day visitors visa) to pick up my BRP from the Post Office?

Just to update, I called UKBA and was strongly advised not to do this. I won't be able to enter the UK under my initial Tier 1, and entering under a visitors visa may invalidate my Tier 1 extension.

Looks like I'll just have to sit it out.

It clearly states on the approval letter in bold & underlined words not to make any travel arrangements before receiving BRP
