Hi, I am facing unique problem (though not sure whether it is unique or many of us have faced it) as below:
I am on Tier 2 ICT visa since Dec 2009 - issued in Nov 2009 and have been in London since then.
I have just noticed that I have got visa issuance date discrepancies on my last 2 BRPs. I mean date of issue is not in line with the previous visa's expiry date. I just wanted to know whether this is normal and accepted or this is something exceptional.
I have checked my last 3 extensions - done in UK, London (2010, 2012 and 2013). 2010 extension's issue date on BRP is OK, however in case of 2012 and 2013 there are gaps. I have provided detail below:
Issue Date Valid Till
2010 29/07/2010 31/07/2012
2012 2/10/2012 13/09/2013 (Gap of almost 2 months with compared to previous visa's expiry). Biometric done in Poplar post office on 26/07/2012
2013 19/09/2013 22/08/2015 (Gap of almost 1 week with compared to previous visa's expiry). Biometric done in Poplar post office on 13/09/2013
I have checked my PBS certificate issue date and the biometric scan date for 2012 and 2013 extensions, which are quiet before the expiry of the current visa.
I was bit worried due to the gap in the visa, do you think this could be a potential problem for ILR? Or once PBS is issued and bio-metrics are done it is upto home office to issue a BRP and date matching shouldn't be a problem.
Any pointer, input from senior members would be really helpful.
Many thanks
