Questions on My ILR SET (O) form Application

Hi,

I am planning to apply for my ILR sometime soon. I have a few questions. It would be great if you could help.

I am currently on Tier 2 ICT visa.
I first came to the UK in 22nd Mar 2009 on Tier2 ICT and returned to India in 9th May 2009.
I returned to the UK in 25th Oct 2009 with the same visa and have been living here since then.

For Q 6.1 in the SET (O) form
When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.

What should I enter my start date as ? 22nd Mar 2009 or 25th Oct 2009 ?

My wife came to UK as my Tier 2 Dependant on 16th Dec 2009 and has been living here since then.
Do I need to show proof of cohabitation since 2009 or just for the last couple of years ?

She started working in the UK only from Aug 2012 I do not have enough documents in her name from 2009.
We only have the council tax bills on her name since 2009. Will that be good enough.
Since Aug 2012 we have many other documents in her name posted at our address.

Kindly advise.

HI I were you then will use oct 2009 as the date of entry , if you can prove the gap between may -oct is official and you were earning in UK then no problem else u can say that was short visit and claim from oct 2009 .
2) just provide from the past 2 years should be enough

Many Thanks for your reply.

So does that mean the start date need not necessarily tie up to the first visa issued to me ?

During May-Oct I was not earning in the UK as I was working in India during that period.

Also these official documents like letter from company and pay slip authentication letter - do they need to be hard copies or print outs would be good enough ?
