ILR : 28 days period

Dear members,

I have looked into this topic in this forum but i am confused with the exact date to apply. Hope members could help me.

Tier 1 general Visa stamp from India: 28-8-10
Arrived UK : 10-9-10
Visa expires: 28-8-15

Can i apply my ILR on 31-7-15 (in person).

No sooner than 28 days before you qualify. Even 1 day early could result in a refusal, so a lot of money at risk. 1/8 to 28/8 is 28 days. 31/7 is 29 days.

I am thinking to take a print out of the above link and show as a proof of 28 day calculation mentioned by ukba.

If you apply one day later do you think it will make lot of difference in getting ILR ?
however day earlier might make difference

Subtracted 28 days
Result: Friday, 31 July 2015

Thank you Amber for clarifying. I was counting whole days inclusive : 1st to 28th of August is 28 days.
