Obtaining Family Visitor VISA twice in a year

Post by nkm » Tue May 26, 2015 8:07 am

Hello All,

My mother was here supporting us (new born) for 5 months (within her six months family visitor visa), she left on 02/05/15 (visa expired on 11/05/15). I want her to apply again in June 2015, as I need her help for two more months.

She has been in and out of UK for more than 15 times since 1995 and has never broken any immigration rule. This is the first time she will be applying twice within 1 year.

I have read the immigration guidlines, it is not clear if it is a problem to apply.
If she gets the visa, then it contridicts with long term visas where within a year, only 6 months allowed and applying twice will give my mum to stay longer than 6 months.

If someone know the rules can you let me know if she will have trouble obtaining the fanily visitor visa?

Thank you in advance.

Regards NKM
