wait times

Post by quincey121 » Mon Nov 05, 2007 12:56 pm

Hi all,

I am going a bit stir crazy. I received my reference number on the 22nd of October and have still yet to hear anything on the fate of my HSMP application. Do you think at this point they are conducting verification checks? Would wait times be lengthier given that I processed through legal counsel? What are standard processing times these days? I called the customer care line and all they said was that the application was still within permitted processig timelines.

They are right

Accd. to Home Office, "Our service standard is that 50% of new applications should be decided within 5 weeks of receipt at our payment handling service and 90% within 14 weeks"

Now a days, they are taking between 2 to 4 weeks, could be delayed if they seek verification
