28 days for review request

Post by givaunchy007 » Sat Nov 10, 2007 4:45 pm

Hi all,

I'm new to this post and I was wondering if someone could help me with this; I got a reply to my HSMP approval application yesterday (9th November) but my application was refused. The letter was dated 12th October 2007 and it is stated there that I could appeal this decision (request a review) within 28days of the date of the decision. Does this mean "28 working days" or 28 days counting from the 13th October. This is a bit confusing because counting 28 days from the 13th October will give me up till yesterday (9th November) to send in my review request, effectively making me ineligible to request a review. I need someone to clarify this...Thanks.

I'm sorry to say that you must submit your request for a review within 28 days of the date of the original decision letter

I can only advise you to contact Home Office with some sort of proof that shows the date of recieving documents.

May be some senior member can give u a better way out
