Good Character - Personal Injury Query

Post by bsudhir » Thu Mar 03, 2016 1:06 pm

Hi

I have a query on on Good Character Section and if we need to declare the same:

- While stopping at a signal my car touched a man lightly and we stopped the car to check on him. He was not injured and was ok. Thinking that everything was fine i went home.

- Next day we got a letter from police asking to share insurance details which i shared

- I also informed my insurance company and they are ready with a claim.

- The incident happened in October 2015 but till no claim was made

Do we need to mention this in the application? Will it hamper the Citizenship decision?

- I also have a Fixed Penalty for speeding in June 2015 for which i paid the fine and got 3 penalty points.

Will both these incidents have any impact on my application?

Regards
Sudhir

No need to declare the insurance claim, but it would be wise to declare the Fixed penalty. A FP won't result in a refusal.
