Urgent MN1 questions (Have read FAQs)

Post by kyborg99 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 12:17 pm

Sorry for Last minute - applying kids MN1 1(3) & Passport combo application on Monday morning 14th March via Bracknell NCS. We/Parent have ILR. Please assist with below questions:

1. Section 2 of the form. Since kid was born in UK I will leave entry date blank - but do I fill in the rest of section 2 questions like address etc - or can I leave complete Section 2 blank please?

2. Section 7 parent consent - since applying as 1(3) -assuming I can leave this blank?

3. Passport Form from Post Office - Section / Question 5 asks about Cert of Registration or Naturalisation - my kid obviously does not have it yet. Should I say No to this?

4. No Fees section in MN1 form and Passport form. I think I can Passport fee using Debit card at NCS - correct me? What about £749 MN1 fee please - how do I pay it please?

Thanks in advance,
kyborg

1. You can write date of birth. The section needs to be completed.

2. You have to sign it and the other parent I think.

3. Don't worry about this if you are using the joint application service. Ask at your appointment.

4. Passport fee sheet is in the guidance booklet you get form post office with the form, last page. Fee sheet for MN1 is on last page of link below.

Hi,
I have just started filling up MN1 form for my kid.
Is it possible to apply passport and citizenship together for them?

Thanks

Yes, only via NCS however only a few Councils are doing it, fill MN1 and Passport Application and submit together at NCS. You will get kid's Citizenship Cert first a little while then Passport after that without having to do anything extra.

Photograph on the MN1 form and Passport form has to be same.

Oh that's great. We have NCS in our council I will call them and confirm.
Thank you so much.
