Hi Everyone,

I need a bit of advice on filling the AN form . I am EEA nationality and I came to the UK in Sept 2010. I have applied and for a PR Card dated 20 June 2016. The problem is that I acquired automatically pr in 2015. Now, on the AN form question 1.3 I need to put a date and send me to pages 10 and 11 but its not clear.
I called this morning the UK border and they said I should put the date the PR card was issued, although thats not the real date I acquired Pr which should be sept 2015.
Can you please advice me what should I do? Anyone in this situation?

Hi I had the same issue and have put the PR card
issue date on the form. Although I have aquired permanent status in 2009, my PR card was issued in 2014. They want to see it as 2014 on the form. But I only did so because HO adviced me, very arguable in my view.

Suggest leave blank as question relates to ILR.
Explain about your date of acquisition of PR in 'additional information' section of form.

If you apply via NCS, NCS can check what the HO CID database has on file about you.
And a SAR from UKVI may show this information too.
