Thank you so much for the response.. can I apply for 5 years residence card when I have appealed against the refusal of permanent residence card application which is in process and waiting for the hearing date.. appeals take long time and I need to travel soon..

Hello,
Is this statement valid for the 'relevant period' or the current situation ?
In other words, if I am now over 21 and NOT dependant on a parent however I would like to apply based on the period when I WAS (which I am entitled to do, since it's ANY 5 year period) under 21 and a descendant... ?
How does it work with Section 3.2 and corresponding sections 12/13 ?
