Prorate earnings

Post by mahesh.lee » Tue Mar 04, 2008 4:53 pm

Hi

I was in UK till Sept07. I am planning to apply for HSMP now.
I will be showing the period of earnings from Jan07-Dec07.
So can I prorate the UK earnings of 9 months by using the formula

(gross sal of 9 months *12)/9. The value which i get here would be used for points calculation. Please correct me if i am wrong?

Also i would be applying in next 2-3 days. I hope it wont be problem to show earnings from Jan07-Dec07. It does come in the 15 month range but just marginally. Please advice

Yes u can show the longest period of earning in with employer in one country as per HSMP1 Guideline Paragraph 41. But your anual slary amount that will be calculated by prorata basis, should meet the country band for UK not yor homeland as you are claiming it for UK.
