Impact of staying back after EC

Hi,

i would like to know the impact incase i get a EC approval and then having to stay back in india for 3 months. this situation might arise keeping in mind my current employers notice period.

Please let me know your thoughts..

However, some applicants may not intend or be able to travel to the UK immediately following their application and Entry Clearance Officers have discretion to defer the 'effective' date for up to three months after entry clearance has been authorised.

it is valid for the date on which you want to travel. (You can ask for it to be post-dated up to three months if you do not plan to travel immediately).
