Naturalisation for Children (nationality)

Post by tonuja » Wed Aug 14, 2019 1:21 pm

Hi please any advice would be much appreciated. I got my citizenship after the birth of my 2 children, my wife is Eea and I'm originally from south Africa. My children were born in the UK but they have never held any passport.
Filling their naturalisation form what do I write as their nationality? If I put mine or my wife's even though they don't have a passport what do I write as their passport number? Also their is an option of officially stateless can I use this option?

They are not stateless. They would assume the nationality of the EU parent and possibly yours as well.

A passport is not mandatory for UK born children to register as British. Put their date of birth if you can go past it.
