for child passport

i am eu citizen but now become british citizen by naturalisation. My question is what i need to apply for my 16 year child ( born italy) to get british passport for him . please help me.

The child can't apply for a British passort as s/he is not a British citizen.

How long has the child lived in the UK? What is the UK Immigration status of the other parent of the child?

i have got british citizenship august 2019 by naturalisation.
my child is in uk from feb 2014 ( more than 5 years) with eu passport and settled status with eu settlement scheme.
my wife has eu passport and settled status.( feb 2014)
2. when we fill MN1 FORM for registration , here one coloumn to fill what section apply sec 3(2) or sec3(5).

please help me . i am not understand this thing.

3(2) and 3(5) are NOT relevant to you.

She applies under section 3(1), which is at home office discretion.

I was responding regarding the child.

It is NOT sec3(2) or sec3(5). These don't apply to the child at all.

The child is registered under sec3(1) for a child born abroad.
