Page 7 of the
Form UKF guidance still lists "Your father’s certificate of naturalisation or registration as a British citizen or as a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies (or, before 1 January 1949, as a British subject)" as proof that can be submitted for that application.

Those are the requirements for registration on Form MN1 and under Section 3(2), not for Form UKF.
