All NOTARIZED copies allowed ?

Post by gunjans » Wed May 18, 2005 6:46 am

Hi All,

Can any body suggest me that if I send all notarized cpoies to HO for HSMP will they accept it.

My cases is: Applied in June 2004 got refusal in Mar 2005. Sent review request and again reject in April 2005.

They did not award me points for Partner living proof.

Also, plz suggest, I don't have any letter from my spouse's company which states that his is "Graduate Level Job" though it is and he is degree holder.

Awaiting for response.
GS.

Hi Gunjans,

Could you please state howz your application, what points u claim, what did your rejection letter state against your claims.

HO still accept notarized copy of certificates but it is highly adviced you send the original if you can.

In case you cannot you may write to request if you can send in a notarized copy and attach the reply to your application to confirm that you were adviced to do so.

I hope this will help? Just explain what you applied for and the response of the HO. And I beleive that expert from this site will help you to solve it.

OK.

Dear Gunjans,

If your partner is Graduate, then no need o worry about the experience letter that you had which dones't mention that it was a graduate level job.

If you read the guidelines carefully, it saysd, that u can get points for your spouce's achievements, if, (1) he/she is gradute or (2) if he/she was employed in a graduate level job. So its clear from thsi that they need either of these, and not the both. SO if u could send the Degree certificate of your partner, its worth.

Regarding the notarised copy, why do you want to send notarised copy and take risk of getting rejected again? Again i would quote the guideleins stating "however, in case where orgiinals are not available, you can send notarised copy", means, you can send a few notarised copies of certificates,. but everything in notarised form, might get higher chance of rejection.

SO, better send originals, don't worry, these dayas time taken for decision is too less, so you can expect your documents back quiite early than last time.

Wish you all the success this time

Thanks dhavaluk..........you saved me. I was also in impression that partner should have a gradfuate degree and graduate level work experience. Now I read the guidelines again,

it reads
::........partner is educated to degree level or equivalent................. Alternatively, you can provide evidence that they are currently or or have previously been employed in a grdautae level job..............::

In my case, my partners employer was not willing to write words like 'this position requires a degree holder' as they have a standard ref. letter.

releived:)

thanks

notarized copies

Post by sohail » Sat May 21, 2005 9:03 pm

Hi!!!

I write very clearly that now HSMP people are not accepting notarized copies at all according to stage 1 of HSMP. My sister was awarded 50 points for her work eperience, but awarded zero points as the degree was notarized. so don't take any risk at all.

what qualification does your sister have and which country did she graduate from. it could just be that the HSMP team did not evaluate her degree as she had expected

I completely desagree with this, as their (HSMP's) guidelines still say that notarised copies fo the certificates can be submitted where orginials are nto possible. There must be some other problem with your sisters degree and Kijaz's spouce's achievements as well. You must be aware that Pakistani degree is generally not consiodered as an equvallent to UK degree as it is completed one year earlier then UK's or India's. SO in both of this cases, that must be a problem and not the NOTARIZED copy.

officially notarised copies are accepted till 15/07/2005. check latest HSMP guidelines on www.workingintheuk.gov.uk. After 15/07/2005 all docs must be originals.
