Today I called HO and got the reply that a decision is made on my application on last Friday and when I asked about the decision he said it is approved.

Without this forum this was not possible. Thank you everybody.

Now waiting for the documents. Find my stories and previous post in the following link.

Contulations alexkutty!

I remebered how you fought tirelessly to get your paid review accepted by the HO.

Thatz a good news perhaps to calm the nerves of those of us that are also expecting our paid review decisions.

What time does it take you to get this result? Can just do a summary of the journey so far, Please?

Thanx and congrats once again.

hi Alex,

You said u had sent your application for paid review, it means u had reapplied. I have even done the samething and mine was also the similar case.

I was even not awarded points for senior level work experience, so have got new experience certificate from my employer showing my senior level posisiton adn have even attached organsiational chat along with photocopies of some of the appointment letters i had issued to hire the staff adn some notices to show my involvelment in day to day routine work (as discussed with my Case Worker).

My intension to post here is just that, i recieved a reference No. which is the same as my previous application which was rejected, did u even experienced the same? don't they allot u a new reference no.? and how much time did they take in aproving your paid review?

I ahve sent photocopies of the appointment letters, because they are not mine, i hope HSMP team will understand the reason of it and won't object for the same, or will they? can anybody tell me ?

Hi dhavaluk,

I have similar case where my work experience and earning papers were mixed up with photocopies. I have corrected it and applied afresh like a paid review by mentioning my last ref #.

I was given my last ref# like 03XXXX/02. I think it is normal and there is no problem about that. Though, no decision yet on my application.

Get it?

I dont know why you need this info?

I applied February 2005 but decision was a week, and it took awhile to receive my docs in March.
But before then had called HO and I was informed of the decision(refused).

I just reapplied, got to HO 09/05/05

Ref # given 10/05/05

Get it?

Hi Dhavaluk

It was my third application. I started with my first application on 31st Jan 2005 and I got rejected within two weeks. My third application I sent on 21st March and 23rd they emailed my reference number same as previous with an extenstion xxxxx/03 because it is my third application.

approved on 13/05/05.(8 weeks)

Hi alexkutty, Dhavaluk & iyanu and every body else,

Even i am going for paid review i.e. 1st rejection then free review rejection.

Now I want to reapply (paid review)........... is there any diffierence between paid review or reapply or fresh appl after rejection.

For paid review/reapply can u please tell me what should be the "SUBJECT' of cover letter and can u please give me format of cover letter.

I'll be highly obliged to all.

Dear Iyanu,

Sorry if u didn't like my asking you for the timeline, but the only reason behind asking that was to get a feel of the time would be taken for my application clearance. Extremely sorry for my inquisitiveness and be assured that in future you won't be asked any question from my side? Got IT?

THere is not difference between the two, they are the synonyms. You can just mention on the covering letter "Application for the HSMP" in a subject line, i have no format for the same as i haven't attached any coverign letter, i have just sent applciation form alongwith the index of documents attached.

Wish you success in this endevour....

This is what I think, no difference.

Since it is after rejection they are the same thing. Only in the body of your cover letter (and probably your application form) you will mention about your last ref#. I think this will help you to retain your last score(s)/point areas if any. And I think may also help a better judgement of the application from the caseworker.

Hi Gunjan

There is no difference between first or second/third application. Only difference is you can fill HO ref no. part of tha application since you got a ref.no. When I made my second application the subject of covering letter I wrote "application to reconsider the original decision". It was a big mistake so they considered my application as free review and rejected saying the reason that I attached additional documents. So my third application covering letter I never mentioned anything as review. I send as a fresh application. Normaly this is called paid review.

I think now you got the point.

regards

Alex
