Based on others in this thread, I would have expected to receive the Vetting Invitation email by February 2024, and it's now the middle of May.

Called the DFA helpline who told me if I have not received the vetting email, my case has not even been opened yet. I provided the agent with my birth registration number, and this was confirmed - case not opened.

I was expecting to receive approval by this or next month. It appears the vetting email can take 6-9 months or longer - there is no typical timeline for it.
