work permit holder switch to Tier 1 dependent ?

work permit holder switch to Tier 1 dependent ?

Hello,
My husband has a workpermit and works here. His work and work permit gets over next month and he wants to switch into my tier 1 visa as a dependent.. he wants to try for 2 months himself even though the market is so horrible here.

can he switch into my tier 1 as a dependent from within the UK ? or should he apply from India ?

MARKET IS HORRIBLE... You are spending your savings... your husbands Visa is going to expire...

If there are no jobs there why dont you go to home country? Dont mind please I am just asking.

as I said, my hubby wants to try for 2 months (he's not into IT BTW). So he wants to try on his own for 2 months and then we take call.

He needs to travel back to India to change his Visa status from work permit to dependent although he has an option to apply for Tier 1 from UK if he wants and if he is eligible.

Hey sashi1979, can you confirm whether he needed to return to india to get it done?
