Previous employment in another country

Dear All,

I am in the process of preparing my first HSMP application. I have 5 years of experience in IT, the recent 2 of them are with my current employer in Egypt. The first 3 years were in Saudi Arabia, with a major IT firm there.

I already have employment reference letters for both jobs.

1. I am asking how would the HSMP case worker verify my employment?
2. Will the local embassy in Egypt call my current employer?
3. How can they verify my previous employment abroad?

Anyone with similar cases ? Please reply !

Very probably but there is tendency that if they are in doubt about the paper they simply do not award the points. For review, they are asking you to produce more evidence

Very probably.

3. How can they verify my previous employment abroad?

As you metion in point 2 they will use British representative in your country. Try to search in this forum and find similar case to you
