ILR visa waiting for 10 months...plz plz advice

Dear All,

I applied for ILR visa in April 2011 on Set M form and haven’t received my passport back yet. Whenever I contact the concerns through phone/letter they say that the case is still under process. It is over 10 months now that I submitted my case through Settlement Checking Service and I am getting frustrated now as it is getting too long and I have holidays coming up as well.

Any suggestions what should I do? Should I go to Croydon in person or what ???

Ask ur MP to write them a letter... I have seen many cases where MP's letter does make a difference
