Is 6 months earnings good enough to apply?

Is it advisable to apply with the current 6 months salary which is good enough to fetch the required points. And also 1yr earnings prior to my Degree.
Degree is for 18months so the earnings would be before and after the degree.

Pls give ur suggestions

Hi friend,

If you are already on HSMP then you can not apply before 5 weeks before ur leave expires.

if you are not in hurry to travel or have another job offer waiting for want of extension then wait till you reach may be 2 weeks your present leave expires.

I also had reached minimum points in advance but decided to wait till 10 days to my present leave expiry that way my points increased to 80 instead of 75 and I had a cushion in case HO had some other ideas.

but of course it is individual decision based on ones circumstances
