Tier 1 Application(from UK) - Presentation of documents

Post by gallic1010 » Wed Aug 13, 2008 10:15 am

Hello All,

I am currently in UK on a work permit and I am planning to apply for Tier1(General) initial entry (switching) for myself and my wife.

I apologize if my questions sound naive, but I would like to seek your views on the following:

1. The application form is quite huge, do we need to pin it up or clip it?

2. How do we send the supporting evidence? Should I put them all in a separate plastic sleeve?

3. Should I remove the instruction sheets and the help text sheets from the form or should I just send the whole 66 page document?

Thanks in advance for your time.

I can tell you what I did,

> I put a big enough binder clip on the app form to keep it together and then put it in a plastic cover.

> I bought a file with plastic sheave sheets and put in each documentation seperately along with a seperator after each type of documentation for instance, a section for age, another for salary etc etc.

> I sent the entire app form. Did not remove even a single page. Why take the risk?

Hope that helps.
