I have been residing in the Northern Ireland since Jan-2015. I have got my ILR done in Sep-2025 and my baby is born in Dec-2025. As per the rules he is eligible for Irish Passport hence I went ahead with the application. I have got notification from passport office to submit original visas to prove my stay in Northern Ireland. As you might aware we are not allowed to keep any expired BRP cards and Home office is sending email notification alone for any visa application. Notification says below.
"Please submit your original UK Residence Permit, If you do not have one, please submit an original signed correspondence from the home office, confirming the from and to dates of your indefinite leave to remain / settlement. Copies, Printouts or Share codes cannot be accepted"
I have one BRP card with me which covers only one year. I have scanned copy of old brp card and a notification from home office about the successful visa application.
Please advise what can be provided.
