Urgent please

Does the sponsorship letter for family visitor visa has to be a hard copy or can a scanned copy also do for the same purpose.I sent my sponsorship documents but forgot to send signed sponsorship letter to my parents.I have scanned the same copy and sent as an attachment.My query might be silly but its urgent as I am getting married next week and my parents are applying for visa on tuesday.Plz reply as have very less time to send just original letter through courier.Plz help.
