I have been a silent and nervous watcher in this forum reading various experiences. I got my Ilr including 1 dependent at solihull today. my details below just to give u insight
1.WP>HSMP>Tier1(General)
2. Absence - 216 days (all personal, 2 long trips around 68 days). total travel outside uk 8. around 130 days non-paid.
appointment at solihull at 9:00. reached at 8:45, car parked in john lewis car park, at home office security check at 8:53. provided a token and waited in the seating area.
after meeting CW, asked for application,immediately he looked at absence page and said is that it, i said yes,( i had 8 trips in total and theres 8 rows in application form). CW asked how many days, i said 216 days and also gave him a letter that contains details and totals of my absence sheet. next CW asked for passports,after that salary slips. i provided 12 months of salary slips and bank statements. next he asked for co-hab docs and life in uk test results. after checks CW said all looks ok and will provide the settlement pending crb checks.
paid at the counter and went out,came back after 2 hrs and collected teh passport stamped.
