ILR

My wife who is Thai national applied for ILR back in the start of November 2011. Can anyone tell me how long this process takes as we can not plan for anything? On the UK Border Agency website we are told not to make any contact regarding application?

My wifes qualification is ESOL Skills for life at Entry Level2. pass at Reading,Speaking,Writing and Listening.
Would this be sufficient to apply for an extension using form FLR?

My wifes application has to be sent in the next week or two so it is too late for the UK test. She did the esol course as this was what we thought was the correct route and she would learn more practical English in the process. The course cost over £500 and we were told this was the right course by ...
