Dears ,
In the British citizenship application form written as follows , could any one explain me can i use my correct names as it written in my motherland documents ( Syrian ) not as my Swedish passport , i am originally from Syria with Swedish nationality , when i came to Sweden on 2005 i gave A different names as in my original documents to product myself from any problem with Syrian authority .
If i provide a home office with all documents where it showing my correct birth names will be fine . or i should to use the names how it written in my Swedish passport .
here what it showing in the application form :--
1.5 Surname/Family name (Note: The name you give here will be the name shown on your
certificate so please ensure it is spelt correctly and you have written it in the correct order):
1.6 Other names (Please note: Your name will be shown on your certificate so please ensure
it is spelt correctly and you have written it in the correct order. We would expect this to be the
same as on your official documents. If this name is not the name used on your current passport
or travel document, or is spelt differently, you must explain why on page 24):
1.7 Name at birth if different from above. (If the names you have given are different or spelt
differently from the name shown on your passport, please explain why on page 24)
Many thanks
