If you are British by descent, your child born in Nigeria is not British and therefor doesn't qualify for a British passport. You are not able to pass your citizenship onto a child born abroad.

I have lived in the UK for 9 years.
Provided you have lived in the UK for any three continuous years, with absences of no more than 90 days per year, and you have proof of such residence, you can register your child under Section 3(2) of the BNA 1981. Use
Form MN1.
Be aware that the child will also be a British citizen by descent and her children will not be British citizens if not born in the UK.
The usual
spouse visa application for the mother. You need to prove an annual income of £18,600 in the UK for at least six months.
