Good Morning to you all!
I had my ILR in 2018 via 3 * 2 discretionary leave.
My first DLR was granted May 2012,
Second DLR August 2015
ILR July 2018.
I will like to know if I can apply for naturalisation now or when can I apply

What is your full immigration history, specifically before you were granted DLR?

I was granted DLR on article 8 private and family life. Leaving here illegally for 6 years. I applied just after the birth of my daughter and the application took 3 years as I was refused twice, went to court once. It was eventually granted through a reconsideration.

Wait till the 10th anniversary of your first DLR, 2022. It is only two years away.

Exactly the same boat come 2004 was asylum failed jan 2012 was granted DLR 3 years and 2015 ext another 3 years got ILR 2018
Even though i overstayed and was meant to apply in 2022 for the 10 years i applied for BC dec 2019 in may got Questionnaire from Caseworker asking me how i supported myself and if i worked claimed benefits etc sent it and bow patiently waiting.

Please provide copies of any available correspondence

2.Where did you live during this period and who else lived there?
Please provide all addresses in full

3.Who was responsible for paying your accommodation costs (rent, utility bills etc)?

Please provide any available supporting evidence, eg utility bills, tenancy agreements, rent statements, mortgage statements etc

4.When and where did you work during this period?

Please provide evidence eg letters from employers, P60s/P45s, statements of account if self-employed

5.When and where did you study during this period?
Please provide evidence eg letters from colleges, certificates/qualifications

6.What benefits did you receive during this period?

Please provide evidence eg notification or award, schedules of payment

7.Did you receive funds from any other source during this period?

Please provide evidence, eg bank statements, receipts. If supported by partner/family member, original evidence of their ability to fund such support will also be required

8.Is there any other information that you wish to provide that may be relevant to your application and the assessment of your ability to meet the good character requirement?

If they refuse, you do lose the entire naturalisation fee, except £80 (the citizenship ceremony fee). That is almost £1250 lost.

So weigh losing that amount vs waiting 20 months.
