Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is keeping well. I need some advice for the subject matter.
The aim here is to get align the requirements properly.
I am due to apply for ILR in 2nd Quarter of 2019. I would like to know the required documents to facilitate my application.
in addition to the above, how does tenancy agreements, proof of addresses, utility bills, bank statements, council tax (documents) are related to ILR. Do I need to have all these (or these are required for settlement based on marriage)?
Looking forward to your reply, I highly appreciate your help on this.
Regards,
JR

A bit early to be planning as HO can change the requirements or documents they wish to see in the next 2 years.
Will you meet the minimum salary requirement for ILR in 2019???
At present, you need :
Absence letters from all employers you have worked for on Tier 2 General. Letter must cover absence for the whole 5 years.
Letter from employer stating '.......XYZ is will still be required in his/her current role of ABC for the foreseeable future', it must also state your income, job role etc etc.
Salary slip,
Bank statement
LIUK
English requirement
Passports

Hi CR001,
very helpful as always, i appreciate your note on planning too early. Actually I do need to plan to move house, that is why just wanted to get more information before i take any action.
post your reply, I need to ask the below questions for further information please.
Q1 - Where to find out the Minimum salary requirement for ILR (is it the same for Tier 2 Gen, or Diff)?
Q2 - when yo refer to absence, do you mean holidays taken to go out of UK or even the normal holidays taken while present in UK (means absence from work)?
Q3 - Salary Slips - what Time Period is it required for?
Q4 - Bank Statements - what Time Period is it required for?
Q5 - What is LIUK, need to know more about this please
Q6 - English requirement - after spending 5 years on Tier 2 Gen do i still need to provide a proof? (what proof can I provide). UK Degree is sufficient?
so we dont have any requirements for proof of address, CT Taxes, utility bills or so... the reason i am asking about these that these are the documents you hear about too often in your social circle. I totally understand it could be because of the different visa categories. Need your advice on this as well. Thank you very much once again CR001.
Regards,
JR

Q1 - For applications made after 6th April 2019, you have to earn a minimum of £35,800pa. Any sudden large increases shortly before ILR will raise an instant red flag with HO.
Q2 - All absences must be listed in the letter, holidays outside the UK, business trips outside the UK etc.
Q3 - Members tend to submit between 1 and 3 months payslips.
Q4 - Same as Q3
Q5 - LIUK = Life in the UK test.
Q6 - Yes, all applicants have to meet the requirements regardless of how long you have lived in the UK. UK degree is sufficient. You will need this and LIUK again for citizenship if you plan to apply for it at some point.

Excellent CR001, it makes sense. All clear!!!!.
One last thing for personal understanding, would you mind sharing your thoughts on the followings ( i acknowledge from your posts that I dont need to take any action for these, which is fine. but for the sake of understanding):
Council Tax, Utility Bills, tenancy agreements.
under what kind of ILR/Visas these documents are required???
Thanks
JR
