london weighting allowance counted for ILR

hi,
i work in a public sector company and my pay is as follows:
Basic pay + London Waiting
i think i am paying tax for both
does anyone know is the London waiting charge counts towards the earnings for ILR (point based system)

it says:
Basic Pay xxxx
London Waiting xxxx
yes it does say London extra or somethhing like that
and i have been taxed for the tottal amount ?
also i have signed up for pension? do i have to reduce this amout from the gross amount as i heard pension are not taxable ?

if its on payslips and taxable, it counts.

Everyone who lives in London gets "London waiting". Only a few also get "London weighting"! My thought for the evening...
