Well so the mantra of the tory government goes.

This forum is about helping each other so I'm suprised there are not couples teaming up together to rent a place. Renting a 3 bedroomed place for around 400 a month and splitting it with one or even two other couples seems a good idea. Would need a little cooperation with different couples getting their names on utility bills and you gotta be careful about getting tied into 12 month tenancies if you only plan to go for 6 months.

I'm making plans to go, maybe May or June and thinking of Cavan area. We are holding back hoping to get divorce and then marriage sorted out before we go because the durable relationship route seems a gamble.

Anyway if there are other couples planning to go maybe you might like to add date and place on here and hopefully find others to team up with.
