Need Advice ASAP

Hi,
I'm on a tier 4 student visa at the moment.. I don't have the option for tier 1 entrepreneur under 50K funds.
But I do have 200K funds available to me under my own name.
I know I will have to go back to apply the visa. my questions are:

1. Can I start an IT Business? even if I've been a student of accountancy and not IT?
2. Can I invest in a running company as a partner. (IT Company)
3. If I were to invest in a running business (any kind) do I need to have a relevant educational background? or relevant work experience in that industry?

P.S I'm really good at IT and want to start my own business here in UK but I've been told that I definitely need to have educational background in IT in order to go in it. Even then I've been suggested not to as they might reject the visa on the grounds that this kind of business can be done from anywhere and wont require a visa to do it.

*IT Business : software development, bespoke business automation systems, mobile application development, website development and IT consultancy and support.

would really appreciate if anyone can guide me in the right direction.

Yes my friend 153 views but no reply/comments. Anyways I will answer you best of my knowledge. Yes you have to apply from outside the UK. 2nd Best to get 50% shares in running business, 3rd you have answered your own question that is it necessary to have the same education background for a particular business". Yes you must have educational background related to your business. If more info need please ask.

Thanks for the reply.. Im concerend about the IT business*.. as im not sure if they might object that it can be done while sitting in my home country and why do i need to come to uk?
is IT business risky when it comes to entrepreneur visa?

No mate it's not risky. You can not say that it can be done back home then how you are gonna meet your clients etc. you will have your office here as well. So I do not think any problems but you have to increase your services. Make sure you do your documentation especially business plans, market research etc professionally done. Need more info pm me.
