Help with FLR(M) form

Post by Rajivm » Thu Mar 13, 2014 12:47 pm

Hi there,
I recently applied for indefinite leave to remain in the UK on the basis of long residence SET(LR). As I can see there is no provisions for dependents of long residence applicant. Referring to the online sources, the FLR (M) form is appropriate for my wife as dependent. However, in question 3.15 and 3.16 on the FLR (M) form, require to state the date the sponsor obtained settlement and on what basis. As my application is still processing which can take up to 6 months and my wife visa will expire soon, it will be impossible to answer the questions 3.15 and 3.16.
If anyone who had similar experience, I will be glad if they can share it and any suggestions are most welcome.

If your wife visa is expiring and you have to apply before you got your ILR then the right way is you have to attach a letter saying or requesting home office to hold your wife decision until they decide you and when you got result for your visa then you will inform them .
