Hi everyone, I hope someone can clarify,

I am tier 1 General holder and got my extension, i will be applying for ILR within due time. I have 2 Questions

Q1: Can we visit family back home for 40 50 days? does it affect ILR application? I already stayed back home for 82 days after getting my initial leave to remain. Visiting family is neither work related neither its on compassionate grounds.

Q2: New rules state that we need to complete 5 years, so that means we can't apply before 28 days of our visa expiry? as if we need PEO appointment we can not really do it after expiring our current stay it has to be before the 5 years period.

I hope to get help from well learned people out there. thanks in advance.
