Dependent Maintenance query?

If a Tier 1 Enterpreneur used a seperate maintenance account for his successful application(not £50,000) having a balance of more than £1800 for the last 6 months.Can he use that for dependant application(established prescence) £600x3=1800from overseas or he still need to show his £900 as maintenace.


49. If you are applying as the family member of a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant you cannot use the same funds to meet the maintenance requirement that the Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) used to meet the attributes requirement (appendix A of the Immigration Rules).

i think it will be fine, other option is to show maintance funds back home in dependent own bank account to make things furher simpler.

can you explain your understanding of the Policy guidence for dependents point 46 which I have pasted.

what i can understand is for each dependent if main applicant is in uk for more than 2 years, need to show £600 in addition to £900(main applicant own maintance funds).
so considering if main applicant in uk for more than 2 years then he need to show for one dependent (900(main applicant)+600(dependent)=1500)
point 46 says that main applicant cannot use his own £900 maintance funds for dependent maintaince funds which is £600.

this is my understanding

Say for example someone applied showing maintenance of £2000,got visa and he gets latest statment to show maintenance of his dependants required (600x3=1800) can he use that account.(technically I think it should be £2700 as his own £900 will be there,) .
I hope you understand what I meant to say.

yes assuming he got three dependents. because he cannot use same funds for dependents maintance.

I think these changes in maintenance funds requirements are applicable from 1st July 2014.
