Hi all am new to this forum. Just need an urgent advice
my psw expired 11-01-2014 but I submitted a tier 1 entrepreneur application in December 24th 2013 n was refused 27th Jan 2014due to :
1. Maintenance fund statement was more than 31 day before submitting.
And
2. The statements was in my wifes (dependants)name. All other points was given.
They gave me the right to appeal which I did already.
But I av a joint account in my home country which covers 90 days period as at the time of my application .
Now ,the question is can I use this to win the appeal at the tribunal. Or how can I go about this? Your advice is highly appreciated.

Hi Experts,
Pls I still need your urgent advice on the question i asked about before now about using/presenting my back home bank statement at the appeal which as bn scheduled on 9th of next month. But after talking to a lawyer he said its not possible to present another document which wasn't submitted with the application initially. Pls what can be done to justify this case to win the case. Your advice is highly appreciated.

sorry if I cause a heart-break but following their policy and guidance I'm afraid there can not be anything that has a potential to over turn the case in your favor and its the nature of the mistake that you have made can not be rectified by the provision of the new documents or evidences but being a human you should not loose the hope.
being in appeal you are having an ample time you can prepare and have all documents you need to re-apply ready.

@ delpi, your lawyer is right that tribunal wont accept new evidence which should have been submitted with the application initially. Best option is to prepare for a fresh application and then submit it immediately after appeal if decision is not favourable.
You didnt indicate how many days statement you submitted with your application. Also as the statement was also in your dependant name, you will find it very difficult to argue on any ground.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.

@Olasunkanmi thanks for ur prompt reply. I submitted 90 days statement initially buh d lawyer submitted it 31 days after I printed it. The statement was in my dependants name bcos we r married n I think I should have access to the account. Although I should have used my home country account which I have as at then dats a big mistake on my part. Is there way we can ague that to justify the case or just to re-appeal after the appeal. Thanks

@OLASUNKANMI thank very much. Do I need to show av started doing the business before submitting the new app after d appeal bcos d company was registered in August 2013. But av not started yet due to the visa issue on ground. Pls what can be done? Thanks

Hello Delpi,
As other mentioned, There is a little hope to win your case by providing your back home statement while in hearing after argue with judge on spot. BUT the best thing to make fresh application as You asked me via pm. YES you need to show that your business is trading with providing contracts, invoices etc. Need more info pm me
