fixed contract applying for ILR

Post by yetis » Tue Mar 25, 2014 3:40 pm

Hi guys,

I'm currently holding TIER2 visa and planning to apply for ILR in this June. The thing I worry about is: my contract is due to expire in next June 2015.Is this OK with the Home Office? If I mention in the employer letter that this could be possibly extended in the future, Will it help? Thank you in advance for your help.

A year is long enough for ukba to approve your application, don't worry. All your employer needs to say is ; You are still required for your current job! time limit is not necessary, if they say job is permanent, that's even better.
