Once again I've done a bit of analysis. I have put the all the applications for Feb 2014 in a single screenshot for a quick glance with the most important fields, sorted as per the date of application.

Just to be optimistic, I have started with the approvals :lol:

Hi All,

Approval posts seem to have gone quiet after 4-5 approvals together last week. Please don't wait till the ceremony is over to post approvals.

It seems to calm me if I see at least 1 approval a day :)

Indeed February approvals are proving slow unfortunately. May the HO is catching up with backlog from previous months.
let is wait and see.

That report also reveals that not only do complex cases get prioritised first, the simple ones are given to novices and cases dealt by novices have to be approved by a supervisor adding additional delay. The message is simple - if you have a straightforward application be prepared to wait longer than usual.

Thanks 'anotherbrickinthewall'…but what kind of justice system is that? The complex one's are prioritised so they are not delayed but in that process the simple ones are getting delayed?

The report appears to be full of appraisals…don't know if its a true reflection of their work standard. Their customer service claims to have achieved a "Service Excellence Status" but if you look around the forum you will know what people really think about their call centres and email services.

Dude check this out, I thought I was alone, I found on the Naturalization time only...by the way congrats getting on approval...its almost 7.5 weeks for me now...when I said straight case, I meant I have had the 5 years HSMP+ 1 Year ILR, UK Degree and as you said you have paid tax (annual tax contribution more then average london income for past 6 years), I am a network engineer and paying almost same amount of tax, I have no court fine, no criminal record, in fact have security clearance record ...people get frustrated in these scenarios..but that doesn't mean, we are offending other people...we are no doubt on the same boat...

What is the average time it took to approve a Naturalisation application (1st Jan 2013 to 30th Sept 2013?
The average time to complete an application was 48.23 days.

I was under the impression that you only get one combined letter for approval and invitation when you apply using NCS. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
