Royal Mail delivery missed today

Thank you everyone for all previous responses and am grateful to each and every person on this forum for sharing their experiences.

Me and my partner re-applied on 10 March 2014(team application). Today, my partner received a royal mail card for missed delivery on my name (I had given my partner's address for receiving correspondences).

The missed parcel delivery is only for me. There is no card received from Royal Mail on my partner's name.

It states the item is a packet and not a letter.

Please can members advise what can it be? I am trying to understand why is it only on my name. Why has my partner not received a delivery from Royal Mail.
