My situation is slightly complex, my wife is in the UK and I work in Oman with a local company. Wife stays with parents and does not claim any benefits. I get paid my salary into my account and I don't pay any tax, my salary is approx £3,500 per month.
We have a total savings of approx £25k and have 2 properties - they are on rent and I pay tax on the income i receive (but this is below the taxable threshold) so all in all i don't pay any tax.
I return home every 3 months for 2 - 3 weeks, and we talk everyday. Can anyone please advise whether I will face any problems when applying for ILR for Mrs?
She is currently on a Spouse Visa (2 years - applied before 10th July 2012 so we are applicable for the 'old rules')
the reason she cant come with me is because I work in the sticks of Oman and not in a compound area.
advise will be much appreciated.
