GOT ILR BUT LIVED OUTSIDE BRITAIN FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS

Hi,
We got the ILR in 2008 and went to native place but never visited Britain as of now. This is due to personal & medical reasons. Is this ILR is still valid? or Do I need reapply? Please help suggesting.
