I have employed a UK resident for session work for last 6 months.
Her number of Hours/Month were 65+104+86+86+86+71 from Oct13-March 14.
1-Can I claim those hours as part time although full time should be minimum 30/wk or 130/month slips issued copies retained.
HMRC(Employee+employer TAX&NI) everything to be paid £450 in few weeks from company's account.
2-I want to change her hourly rate and give her full time job 30hrs/week
Initial paid rate was £9.5/hour ,how much reduction in hourly rate will be justifiable?
According to Home Office guidance these are countable as 1560 required for a full time for 12 months. Need Forum members Advice.
Are they asking for continuity of employee for at least six months(I got T1E leave before 06/04/2014)and you can not claim hours if you employed some one for less than 6 months(irrespective of the number of hours)?
95. We consider a 30-hour working week to be full-time. Part-time work can form part of the total number of hours of employment created.
All replies will be appreciated.
Thanks for time and opinions.
