Business(Entrepreneur) as tutor:

Post by Extension2013 » Tue Apr 22, 2014 5:52 am

Dear all:

I hold my entrepreneur visa(50K PSW) since march 2014 on the basis of security company. Now I want to add another business as tutor but I am abit confused to taking the step. This is why I need all valuable memebers' valuable advise. Many thanks in advance.
Question No.1: the present security company is properly registered with companies house and HMRC but neither insured nor trading, what should I do more for this to reflect the standard,I mean to make it ready for trading?

Question No.2: To show my second business as tutor on this entrepreneur visa which I have got on security company, will there be any affect during my extension? if not and if I can do ...

Question No.3: what is required to do this business as tutor under the entrepreneur visa?
(I) is a separate company as tutor required or I can put its services in the available security company.?
(ii)will I need any professional body recognition or not?
(ii)will I need any insurance or not?

Please please further add in your comments and advise if I have forgotten anything relevant. All Gurus and expert please help me with your comments and all memebers opinions are highly appreciated.

kind regards

Putting your guards on up-skilling courses so that they can renew their licence can be part of your business, every other security companies have their own internal trainers to deliver qualifications new or up-skilling.

speak to whoever your insurer is that we need an add-on insurance that should cover training you would also need to tell them if qualifications as a result of training are accredited(awarding body) or if your training involves physical intervention it can all go under same policy and it is very common practice.

your business provides services as well as training services is good impact at the time of extension, you should try and keep all that under one company name and there is not anything such as risks in it.
thanks,

thanks Princess of Ammi for your advise and comments.Really appreciated.
So sad and sorry for other members who have put not a single word in response to my query but however due to my own efforts I have got the answer that under one company upto 4 different business activities /SIC can be entered.
