Wow!!! that's the fastest processing time I've ever seen for Irish citizenship. What a lucky person you are, good for you. That should be the standard for everyone really. I applied 21 October 2013, received 2nd stage 13 February 2014, still waiting for approval.

thanks for replying but i dont see many people on the 24 april got there approval letter as i know from previous ceromony.it take almost 4,000 people. please share.....

Remember that we are now seeing processing times of as little as 3 months. That to me shows the backlog has been cleared and there will become less and less people during citizenship ceremonies as the processing times get shorter. I got my approval on April 23, exactly 6 months and 1 day after my application date.

Yes, and isn't it wonderful? The waiting time of years was ridiculous and unacceptable. Mr. Shatter will have one thing to be proud of, I hope. With clearing of applications, one does have to wonder if the ceremonies will be less frequent. Will they wait to have a certain amount of applicants? If they plan on just a few ceremonies each year, that is okay, but it would be nice to know. But, we'll just have to wait and see. Our applications took 3months, 1 week. Good luck to all who are waiting.
