Validity of Tier 1 Dependent Visa when Husband gets ILR?

Post by harishM » Mon Apr 28, 2014 7:21 am

Hello,

I am on Tier 1 Visa and currently eligble to apply for ILR. The intention is to get British passport and move back to India and settle there. As this is our plan, my wife is not inclined to apply for british passport. So the idea is for me to apply for ILR for me and my 2+ year old son. However, I am not sure of the following.

1.Will my wife's Tier 1 dependent Visa stay valid until July 2015 which is when it expire?
2. Will she be able to travel in and out of UK until July 2015?
3. If her visa is not valid or if it expires, what other economical Visa option she could choose if she does not want ILR?

I would greatly appreciate if anyone can provide your view and also reference documents from ukba site if possible.
