Hi, I was reading the posts in this forum and I have found very useful. I was wondering if someone could help me please. My wife is a EU citizen and I am non-EU citizen. We live in UK since 2008. My wife was working and now she is not working. But I am always working full time. Now we both have Permanent Residence card ( upon successful on EEA3 & EEA4). We have a daughter who is also an EU citizen. We all are planning to apply for naturalization for British Citizenship in about 10 months time. My questions are :
Am I eligible to claim Housing benefit & council tax rebate benefit?
If I ( non-EU citizen with permanent residence visa) apply for Housing benefit & Council Tax Rebate benefit, then will it affect my / our naturalization application/British citizenship?
Although I am working full time, but as my wife is not working at the moment, I find it really difficult to pay the rents/ bills. And that's why I really need the advice urgently. Please reply me in details as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
