Documents needed for MN1 (section 1(3))

Dear Readers - I go my ILR recently on Tier 1(g) basis. Had not applied for kids ILR born in UK but preparing for their Registration under section 1(3).

Guidance does not say anything about the requirement to send parents passport or BRP's along the child application. Can anyone please help if one or both parents need to send their passports and/or BRP's?

Q2: Which documents are needed for registration as BC?

If applying under section 1(3) (child born in the UK to parents who now at least one parent holds ILR), the following documents are required:

- Original full UK birth certificate for the child (with the ILR parent named on it).
- Original child passport (if has one).
- Parent's passport showing ILR / BRP. (photocopies of all pages are accepted)
- Marriage certificate (if child born before 2006).

Also in addition to Amber's accurate post, form MN1 and guide is for a range of different sections of the BNA, not just for section 1(3) so the documents vary, but page 17 of the form has the tick boxes for documents to send, see point 7.6 for parents passport details etc.
